I can't say
enough about this great early poster by Wes Wilson. Such early
days, such a seminal time for Wes (and the others)...this wonderful
example that looks silk-screened (but it's litho) stands out,
is historical, colorful...and just a great image, considering
the time it came out.
It's hard to
imagine how rapidly this artform developed under the pressure
of weekly posters and the tremendous creativity that LSD unleashed
among the artists. Just look at this poster, and any of Wes' posters
a year later...you'll see what I mean. Sea changes like this just
don't happen that quickly unless extraordinary things are taking
place...and they were.
This poster
is printed on uncoated, heavy stock, and is perfect.
