FD 46-1

14" x
20" 1967
Maybe the most
valuable poster in my collection...
Janis Joplin spilled Southern Comfort on it.
This poster
was up in my studio in 1968 when I was working on a huge painting
for Gary Brooker. Janis came over after a gig (at the time she
lived around the corner and would drop in after gigs to cool out
before going home two blocks away) and came upstairs to see how
the pianting was coming along...and while gesturing wildly whilst
telling me about the gig, some of her Southern Comfort slurped
out of the bottle and onto this poster (and everything else in
the room).
This cracker
of a poster is a classic Moscoso, who was a first-rate designer
and a cool dude.
Staple holes,
a bit soiled (but GOOD soiled!)....very good condition.
